GAZA: Five Palestinians were killed and at least five others were wounded as a result of renewed Israeli raids on the northern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying that Israeli aircraft targeted several places in separate parts of the towns of Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, which led to the death of five Palestinians and the injury of at least five others, who were taken to hospital.

The same sources described the wounds of some of the injured as "serious".

The number of Palestinian martyrs in the wake of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the third consecutive day rose to 31, while 274 others were injured, according to the health authorities in the Strip.

These developments come amid talk of a possible humanitarian truce in the coming hours between the Israeli entity and the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
