Aster offers QR1m worth CT scans & MRI to IDC-IMA

Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest private healthcare networks, offers 300 MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imagining) and 300 CT (Computed Tomography) scans worth QR1m to Indian Doctors Club & Indian Medical Association (IDC & IMA), which is registered under the aegis of Embassy of India.
The announcements were made by Dr Joji Mathews, President, IDC- IMA Qatar and Dr Sameer Moopan, Chief Executive Officer, Aster DM Healthcare- Qatar together during a function at the Regional Corporate Head Quarters of Aster in the presence of Dr Prajeesh Padmanabhan, Vice-President, IDC & IMA and other Committee members of IDC-IMA. This initiative is a part of Aster’s 30th anniversary under the banner of Aster@30.
This project aims at wellness of the people who cannot afford to go for such tests in private sector. 400 Doctors of IDC –IMA would be referring the eligible candidates for the benefits under this programme.
Dr Joji Mathews said “We are glad to be a part of Aster@30 community service. This initiative will immensely help patients who are financially challenged and those who are in wait list to get an advanced early diagnosis and treatments.”
