DOHA: Qatar’s Minister of State for Defence Affairs, HE Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met today with the Commander of US Central Command, General Lloyd J Austin III and his accompanying delegation who are currently visiting Qatar.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on matters of common concern, especially developments in the region and ways to strengthen relations between Qatar and the US.
US Ambassador to Qatar, Dana Shell Smith attended the meeting along with a number of Armed Forces senior officers.
