President Aquino is proud of the Filipino athletes competing at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore and is optimistic they will surpass last year’s medal haul in Myanmar.
The President extended his support for the local athletes and commended those who have earned medals during the games, according to Presidential Communications Operations Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr.
“Nakikiisa si Pangulong Aquino sa sambayanang Pilipino sa pagpapaabot ng dasal, suporta at pagpugay sa ating mga atletang kasalukuyang lumalahok sa ika-28 Southeast Asian Games sa Singapore [President Aquino joins the Filipino nation in extending prayers, support and praise to our athletes participating in the 28th Southeast Asian Games in Singapore],” Coloma said over government radio.
