Doha: The 14th Arab Robotics Championship will kicks off at Lusail Sports Arena today.
The two-day tournament witnesses the participation of many Arab countries, as they compete in the field of robotics, said the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in statement.
Participating countries include Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Algeria, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Morocco, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, and Oman.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi who is expected to deliver a speech on the importance of robotics and technology in shaping the future of education and innovation in the Arab world.
This year’s tournament received great support from the main sponsors, including the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and the Mowasalat Company (Karwa).
