Raozan Samity-Qatar (RSQ), a Bangladeshi sociocultural organisation, has observed the national and Independence Day of Bangladesh at Golden Fork Restaurant.
Mohammed Forkhun, acting president of RSQ presided over the meeting. Mohammad Nazmul Haque, second secretary of Bangladesh Mission in Qatar, was the chief guest and Mohammed Musa, a freedom fighter was guest of honour. Noor Mohammed, Mizanur Rahman, Osman Gani, Mohim Kibriya, Mohammed Ershad Ulla khan and Rahim Pervez also spoke on the occasion.
There was big round of applause when Haque said his mission is open for all even at midnight whenever there is an emergency to help a needy. Musa recalled the days during nine months of war in 1971 and said he was proud of the nation where it is standing today.
