Manila, Philippines: An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale struck off, Wednesday, the coast of Baculin, about 68 km east of the Philippines.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said it expects damage and aftershocks from the quake which occurred offshore.
The US Geological Survey reported that the earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km.
