Doha, Qatar: A delegation from the Jordanian national team competing in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 visited the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha Qatar, including the Jordanian pavilion held under the motto of strong roots with better future.
During their visit, the team were apprised of the state-of-the-art innovations and sustainable environment initiatives the pavilion showcases. They toured its sections which combine modernity with authentic traditions, along with the flagship and innovative projects of horticulture, alongside the Qatari pavilion that embraces exhibits, innovations, and initiatives.
The Jordanian team expressed their happiness for visiting the expo and lauded the incredible organization of this global event that combines a variety of cultures and innovations from all over the world. The team underscored that Doha had succeeded in drawing the global attention through the dazzling organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament, anticipating the same milestone to be replicated through organizing an inspired and splendid AFC Asian Cup.
Doha, Qatar: The team are due to confront the Malaysian counterpart on Jan. 15 at Al Janoub Stadium followed by South Korea on Jan. 20 at Al Thumama Stadium. Ultimately, the team will compete in the group league by facing Bahrain on Jan. 25 at Khalifa International Stadium.
The Expo 2023 Doha intends to promote the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 through opening the tournament fan zone which will offer a wide range of sport, cultural and recreational festivals, positioning itself as a vibrant hub for football fanatics from all over the world.
