London: Within the framework of the state visit of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the UK, and to enhance existing cooperation between the Qatar Armed Forces and the British Royal Armed Forces, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Qatari and the UK Ministries of Defense to cooperate in air capabilities and related services.
The MoU was signed on the Qatari side by Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, and on the British side by Chief of Staff of the Royal Air Force H E Air Chief Marshal Richard Knighton.
