Doha: The General Secretariat of the Cabinet has obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System, reflecting its commitment to implementing international standards in information protection and strengthening corporate governance, thereby supporting operational efficiency and reinforcing confidence in its digital environment.
This achievement comes as part of the General Secretariat’s efforts to develop its information security framework by strengthening organizational and technical measures, implementing the necessary controls to mitigate risks, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, thereby supporting business continuity.
On this occasion, Director of the Information Systems Department at the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, Alshayma Ahmed Al Malki, affirmed that obtaining this certification marks an important milestone in the development of the General Secretariat’s information security framework and reflects its commitment to enhancing the efficiency of its systems and approved policies in line with an institutional approach that keeps pace with evolving cybersecurity requirements.
