Doha: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) announced the key updates for the third Qatar Real Estate Forum.

The event is set to take place under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani from Oct. 12 to 14, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), in conjunction with Cityscape Qatar.

Organised under the motto of “Aqarat’s Future”, the forum builds on the success of the previous two editions, entrenching its stature as a strategic platform that converges decision-makers, experts, and investors, Chairman of Aqarat Eng. Khalid Ahmed Saleh Al Obaidli said in a press conference yesterday.

Al Obaidli pointed out that during this event, Aqarat will officially launch a comprehensive online services platform, placing up-to-date real estate data and precise indicators at the fingertips of investors. He noted that the platform will help them explore licensed projects through interactive maps and complete all procedures electronically.

Regarding the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia, the official guest of honor at this forum, Al Obaidli highlighted that this partnership epitomizes the depth of brotherly relations between the two nations.

Throughout this event, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between Aqarat and the Saudi Real Estate General Authority, aiming to boost cooperation in legislative and technological areas, in addition to coordinating national efforts to advance the real estate sector in both countries.

In pursuit of promoting an integrated investment environment, Eng. Al Obaidli announced that a comprehensive government pavilion has been dedicated within the forum’s events, bringing together several key public agencies concerned with the investor’s journey.

This pavilion, he said, includes the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Municipality, Ministry of Labour, Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, and Invest Qatar, offering investors direct access to officials and familiarization with all procedures and ways to execute them.

Eng. Al Obaidli affirmed the launch of the inaugural Qatar Real Estate Award, a move that aims to pay tribute to trailblazing milestones in the real estate sector. He invited developers, consultancy offices, and contractors to participate in this award.

During the press conference, a whole raft  of official sponsorship agreements for the forum’s events were announced, with leading companies supporting the event and pitching the pivotal role of the real estate sector in Qatar.
