Doha, Qatar: Visit Qatar, in partnership with the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), World Triathlon and the Qatar Triathlon Federation, has revealed further details of the Lusail course that will host the 2026 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, taking place from December 10–12 , as the event returns to the city for a second consecutive year.
The course will once again showcase Lusail's waterfront setting, with athletes swimming 2km in the Arabian Gulf before an 80km cycle through the city's streets and an 18km run through Lusail Plaza and Boulevard. New for 2026, athletes will also be able to compete as part of a team, with relay entries now available across both the 100km and sprint distances, adding an extra layer of accessibility to the event's roster of races alongside the individual open and age-group championships and the 1km and 5km community runs.
The expanded course reveal builds on the strength of the event's debut year, when the inaugural T100 Age Group World Championships in Doha drew more than 5,000 amateur athletes from 82 countries, underlining Qatar's growing reputation as a premier destination for large-scale international multisport events.
The Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final also marks the culmination of the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour, a season-long series that spans nine international destinations from March through to December, with the world's leading professional triathletes converging on Lusail to decide the season's world championship titles.
