Doha, Qatar: Minister of Commerce and Industry, HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, met on Monday, July 6, 2026, with HE Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and industry, in support of the growing economic partnership between Qatar and the UAE.
Economic indicators reflect the strength of these relations, with bilateral trade reaching USD 8.4 billion in 2025, representing a 10% increase compared to 2024. The value of Qatari exports to the UAE also exceeded USD 6.7 billion during the same year.
