Qatar Charity (QC) has announced that more than 2 million people inside and outside Qatar have benefited from its Ramadan campaign titled 'Your Giving is Life' conducted during the Holy Month of Ramadan including a number of projects being implemented at home and abroad.
The campaign included mainly Iftar for the fasting people, Eid clothing and Zakat Al Fitr along with a number of awareness projects at an estimated cost of QR30,750,572, QC said in a press statement yesterday.
The partnerships being implemented within this campaign covered various sectors in the governmental, semi-governmental and private sectors, it added.
QC stressed that partnerships and their outputs were various as they provided discounts and direct benefit to beneficiaries, supported projects with direct social impact, allocated halls and places to collect donations, said the statement.
