Doha, Qatar: CEO of the Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) H E Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al Thani received the President of Qatar University (QU) H E Dr. Omar Mohamed Al Ansari and his accompanying delegation of deans of colleges and heads of departments at the university.
During the meeting, which was held at the premises of QMC, aspects of cooperation between the QMC and the university were discussed, and the exchange of experiences for developing the media curriculum at the university to keep pace with the requirements for media amid developments in technology and modern digital media.

Both CEO of Qatar Media Corporation and President of Qatar University stressed the importance of developing a joint work programmes to achieve the desired goals of this cooperation.
To recall, Qatar Media Corporation had signed a memorandum of understanding a few months ago with the University of Doha for Science and Technology.
The Corporation seeks to strengthen relations with various universities and academic and research institutions in the country to facilitate these institutions to learn more about the needs of the labour market in the media sector and to prepare students and researchers to meet those requirements.
