BI detains Thai critical of Pinoys

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) detained yesterday Thai national Prasertsri Kosin – who uses Koko Narak in his Facebook account – for being an undesirable alien after he was reported to have posted on a social media community page  comments insulting to Filipinos.

Kosin went to the BI main office in Intramuros, Manila on Wednesday (May 6, 2015) to surrender and request for voluntary self-deportation after his employer fired him over the controversy.

However, the Thai national cannot be allowed to leave the country immediately pending the issuance of  the BI Board of Commissioners a voluntary deportation order.

The bureau is said to be rushing the preparation of the said document to be signed by BI Commissioner Seigfred Mison and his two deputies.

Kosin was also instructed to purchase his own plane ticket for the trip back to Thailand.

Once the deportation order is signed, Kosin will be escorted by BI operatives to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to board his flight. He will never be allowed to return to the Philippines.
