Action during the Qatra Football Association (QFA) Cup match between Lusail and Al Khor at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium. On Monday, Lusail edged past Al Khor 1-0 thanks to Saoud Djebrin's goal. In another match, Jassim Al Jalabi netted a brace as Mesaimeer beat Qatar Sports Club 4-1 at the Saud bin Abdul Rahman Stadium in Al Wakrah. Omar Al Emadi and Robinho scored the other goals for Mesaimeer. Sixteen teams from QNB Stars League and Second Division are participating in the competition. However, Al Sadd, Al Duhail, Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan will not compete in the tournament due to their participation in the AFC Champions League.
