Doha: Qatar University (QU) held its 11th career fare, with 71 information booths representing government and private organizations taking part.
The event aims to provide the students with the opportunity to interact with employers, and get an insight in the labor market’s needs and employers’ expectations as well as the various training services and internships they can follow to develop their skills, abilities, and professional experience.
President of QU Dr Hassan Al Derham said that event helps students "choose the institution in which they want to train and find appropriate career opportunities." He expressed his delight that the event drew a remarkable presence of many organizations in the government and private sectors.
He added that QU is committed to providing students with training opportunities that help them uplift their skills and competencies and build their future career.
