Johannesburg: Australia won the toss and sent South Africa in to bat in the second Twenty20 international against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium on Sunday.
It was a change of tactics for Australia, who lost the first game in the three-match series by three wickets in Durban on Friday after winning the toss and batting.
South Africa made two changes from the side that won in Durban. Fast bowler Dale Steyn returned in place of Kyle Abbott for his first appearance since injuring a shoulder in the first Test against England in December. All-rounder Farhaan Behardien replaced Rilee Rossouw.
Australia made four changes, meaning all 15 players in their squad would have played in the first two matches.
Shane Watson, James Faulkner, Ashton Agar and Josh Hazlewood replaced Usman Khawaja, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Adam Zampa and Andrew Tye.
