Rabat: Two earthquakes measuring 4.0 and 3.8 on the Richter scale hit on Sunday Driouch Province, northern Morocco.

The National Geophysical Research in Morocco announced that these two earthquakes, whose epicenter was located in the width of Driouch Province, occurred Sunday morning, and that the first tremor occurred at a depth of 10 km, while the second tremor occurred at a depth of 6 km.

On December 30, the Driouch Province was subjected to an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale, and on the 21st of the same month it was also hit by an earthquake of 4 degrees.

Morocco's southern and Atlantic regions are often hit by earthquakes of different strength, causing no casualties.
