President of the Permanent Arab Commission on Human Rights Dr Amjad Shamout praised the human rights situation in Qatar confirming that it has taken positive steps towards the prosperity of national human rights in different areas including legislation, practices and policies.
Shamout said Qatar's National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) is one of the most notable committees in the region by making an effort to attend, participate and organise international conferences, touching on the importance on constant communication between the commission and national committees including NHRC and its contributions.
