The podium winners of Amateur class celebrate on the podium.
DOHA: Khalifa bin Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani captured the Amateur class title, while Nasser Al-Ghazali claimed top honours in the Silver round as the eighth leg of the Longines Hathab – Qatar Equestrian Tour kicked off yesterday at Al Shaqab.
The podium winners of Silver round were honoured by Tournament Director Abdullah Mohammed Al-Marri.
Khalifa delivered a standout performance aboard Zion, clocking an impressive 54.36 seconds to secure first place. Mariam Abdulkarim Abdul followed closely with a time of 54.89 seconds on Beyonce, while Hamad Nasser Al-Marri finished third in 55.15 seconds riding Jumbo. The top three riders received their awards from Mohammed Saleh Al-Marri, Chairman of Hathab’s Facilities and Logistics Committee.
The Silver Round proved equally competitive, with Al-Ghazali posting a swift 26.85 seconds on Dexter to claim victory. Mohammed Abdullah Jumaa secured second place in 27.00 seconds on Viahibe, and Khalid Al-Hadi rounded out the podium with a time of 27.65 seconds riding Doremi. The winners were honoured by Tournament Director Abdullah Mohammed Al-Marri.
