Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange index increased at the beginning of yesterday's trading by 82.65 points, or 0.69 percent, to reach the level of 12,100 points, compared to the end of Thursday’s trading.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed that the communications sector increased by 2.34 percent, the industrial sector by 0.77 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.74 percent, the real estate sector by 0.55 percent, the bank and financial services sector increased by 0.50 percent, and the insurance sector by 0.15 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR64.98m, distributed among 29.907 million shares, with the implementation of 2236 transactions.
