'Bohemian Rhapsody' tops American Box Office

Washington: 'Bohemian Rhapsody' movie topped American box office, earning $50 million.

The film is directed by Bryan Singer and stars Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton and Ben Hardy.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a 2018 biographical film about the British rock band Queen, focusing on lead singer Freddie Mercury's life leading up to Queen's Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium in 1985. 

'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms' came in second place with $20 million. The film is directed by Lasse Hallstrom and Joe Johnston and stars Mackenzie Foy and Tom Sweet.

The new movie 'Nobodys Fool' by actress Tiffany Haddish came in third place with $14 million. The movie was co-starred by Courtney Henggeler and Missi Pyle and directed by Tyler Perry.

'A Star Is Born' slipped from second place it occupied last week to the fourth place, earning $11 million. The film is directed by Bradley Cooper and stars Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott along with Bradley Cooper.

The horror movie 'Halloween', which topped American box office last week, settled in fifth place with just over $11 million.
