Registrations for the 3rd ‘Beat Diabetes’ walkathon in Qatar organised by the Landmark Group in Assocation with Qatar Diabetes Association opened on November 1 and will run till November 16, .
Residents can register for free and pledge their support to the cause at Centrepoint, Al Asmakh Mall, Al Sadd and Barwa Plaza Mall, Barwa Village, and also can take free blood glucose test in these mall’s from November 1-7.
Registered Participants will receive a t-shirt, wristband and cap. Open to Qatar residents of all age groups, the walkathon will kick off from Corniche, next to Oryx on Friday November 16 at 3.30pm.
During November, the Landmark Group will host walkathons across UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and India. Landmark Group conducts various activities and community outreach events as part of its on-going endeavour to spread awareness about the growing incidence of diabetes.
