Doha, Qatar: The General Directorate of Drug Enforcement at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) apprehended a man of Asian origin for using and distributing several types of narcotics.
Having obtained necessary authorization to search the suspect’s residence, three bags of varying sizes containing 50 kilograms of hashish, 4 kilograms of Shabu/methamphetamine, 45 grams of powdered Lyrica pills, and 8 Lyrica capsules were found.
In addition, two electronic scales used to weigh the narcotics were also recovered.
After being faced with the evidence, the suspect admitted to what he was accused of and was then referred to the Public Prosecution to initiate standard procedures in this regard.
