Rome: Minister of Municipality and Environment H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi said that the wise policy pursued Qatar's political leadership has thwarted the plans of the siege countries. "Through its national food security strategy, Qatar managed to overcome threats, challenges and adverse effects of the blockade and ensure sustainable provision of food, medicines and raw materials in a short period of time," The minister said at the 40th Session of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Conference in Rome.
