NAMA Center launches training guide on social entrepreneurship

Doha: The Social Development Center (NAMA), a Qatar Foundation for Social Work affiliate, launched the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East social entrepreneurship training guide. State Minister, Qatar National Library President H E Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari attended the launch event, along with a lineup of officials and a group of interested individuals. The training guide was put together using the results of a needs assessment survey in the field of social entrepreneurship in Qatar, conducted in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), with the aim of providing comprehensive and integrated training for social entrepreneurs, focusing on developing their skills and capacities to support sustainable development in society. In his speech at the launch event, NAMA Center Executive Director Ghanim Salah Al Ali said that this guide comes as part of the center’s commitment to enhance innovation and support institutional excellence in Qatar.
