Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar, represented by HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri, Minister of Labour, assumed the presidency of the 111th session of the International Labour Conference, for the first time since the establishment of the organization in 1919.
HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri was elected President of the conference in the presence of 5,000 participants including Their Excellencies Heads of State, Excellencies Prime Ministers, Their Excellencies Ministers of Member States, and representatives of employers, labourers, workers and representatives of international, governmental and labour organizations.
