Emir condoles with Queen Elizabeth and British PM

Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Theresa May, the Prime Minister, on the victims of the two terrorist attacks in downtown London, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their source and whatever their motives and causes.
The statement voiced Qatar's rejection of criminal acts that terrorise the innocent and contravene human values and principles. It also affirmed Qatar's full solidarity with the British government and support for any measures taken to maintain security.  Saturday night's rampage by three men wearing fake suicide vests that killed seven, was the third deadly terror attack in Britain in less than three months Police said they had arrested 12 suspects.
