ACS Doha International School hosted its High School graduation ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton to celebrate the accomplishments of 39 students destined for universities around the world.
The Head of School, Steve Calland Scoble, introduced this year’s keynote, Emirati entrepreneur, writer and motivational speaker, Khalid Al Ameri. The ceremony was attended by parents, school partners and members of the ACS Board from the UK.
ACS Doha’s High School Principal, Dale Taylor, announced: “We acknowledge our students, their hard work, skills, strength, and academic knowledge, and how they have championed our school ethos and values. Today, we celebrate as an inspired community of learners made up of students, parents, and teachers, and I congratulate you all for what we have achieved here together.”
ACS Doha is dedicated to shaping each graduate's journey to university. The strong College Counselling programme evaluates every student to find their interests, what inspires them, what they are really good at, and then guides each one to realise their personal ambition. Guest speakers frequently visit the campus to share their professional insights, discuscareer opportunities, and reveal vital insights that hopefully enable students to take decisions that will make a real difference.
Beingone of a group of ACS schools has distinct advantages as ACS Doha collaborates closely with colleagues in the UK, sharing resources, and practices that drive student success.Since opening in 2011, the Doha campus has grown to offer a compelling set of international programmes, including the renowned International Baccalaureate Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes, alongside a US High School Diploma, making it the perfect choice for both local and global families seeking the best in international education.
