Prizes worth QR3m for football fans at Emir Cup

Doha:  Fans attending the upcoming Emir Cup matches now have the chance to win prizes that are worth QR3m Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced. 

Spectators will have the chance to win mega prizes including cars from Toyota, motorbikes, iPhones, BlackBerries and coupons from Sony – Fifty One East. 

The raffle draws will take place during the upcoming matches of Rounds 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the pretigious. 

Fans have to buy their tickets from one of the ticket outlets to be eligible to enter the raffle draw which will take place in the stadiums before the match kick-off. 

The lucky tickets will be announced before final whistle of each match. 

The ticket outlets include Villaggio, The Mall, Landmark, Lagoona, Souq Waqif, Katara, Fifty One East in City Center, Al Wakrah Centre, Lulu Hypermarket in Airport Area, and Al Khor Mall. 

The prizes will be distributed to the lucky winners at the QFA Headquarters in Al Bidda Tower, Westbay, it was announced. 

Saoud Al Mohannadi, General Secretary of QFA said: “Giving our fans the opportunity to win these amazing prizes goes to show our commitment towards our fans demands and the efforts put in place by different parties in an effort to promote this tournament. We hope to experience a successful tournament this year and look forward to the Final Match.”

Emir Cup action resume stoday with four matches and will be followed by matches May 8 and 11. The final is due to take place at the Khalifa Stadium on May 18.
