Qatar Museums offers opportunity to learn from IDAM’s master chefs

Under the patronage of its Chairperson, H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar Museums (QM) is offering the public a unique opportunity to take part in a series of masterclasses on haute cuisine at the Museum of Islamic Art’s (MIA) award-winning IDAM restaurant.
IDAM’s Executive Chef, Damien Leroux and his team will host a range of classes and live demonstrations for public, where they will discuss their passion for gastronomy, share some of their latest recipes and provide visitors a first-hand glance into IDAM’s seasonal menu themes, all infused with a twist of local influence.
Three classes will take place on April 7, 14 and 21 between 2 pm and 5pm, headed by Executive Chef Damien Leroux, Head of Pastry Chef Benoit Champeau and Sous Chef Pierre Marty respectively.
Chief Commercial Officer Phil Lawrie said: “We are excited to host these unique master-classes which will provide a fabulous opportunity for food-lovers to experience a behind-the-scenes look at how our kitchen team creates the magic of IDAM. These master-classes are led by some of Doha’s most talented chefs and participants will experience how to prepare some of Qatar’s most exquisite culinary offerings.”
Each session includes a three-hour master class, a booklet, apron, recipe book and an exclusive tasting experience of exquisite dishes.
