Doha: Kuwait’s air defense systems are currently dealing with missile and drone attacks in the country’s airspace, according to the Kuwaiti General Staff of the Army.

In a statement on X, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said that air defenses are responding to missile and drone attacks targeting the country.

The army noted that sounds heard in several areas across Kuwait were the result of air defense systems intercepting the incoming missiles and drones.

Authorities did not immediately report casualties or damage.
