Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation with H M King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
King Hamad expressed satisfaction with the positive outcomes of the visit by Prime Minister of Bahrain, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to Qatar, which reaffirmed both countries leaderships' keenness on cementing fraternal bonds and promoting cooperation for the interests of their people. The two leaders also discussed the latest regional developments.
The Emir in turn welcomed the intended visit of Bahrain's Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to Qatar.
The Emir will meet with the Bahraini Crown Prince at the Emiri Diwan to discuss means of promoting fraternal relations between the two countries.
