Amman: Minister of State for International Cooperation H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad held two separate meetings with Jordan's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation H E Zeina Toukan, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H E Nancy Namrouqa in Amman yesterday.
During the two meetings, they discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, strengthening diplomatic, humanitarian and development cooperation, ways to provide humanitarian assistance and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip, and developments in Syria, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
The importance of joint action to promote stability and sustainable development was also highlighted during the meetings.
The two meetings were attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Jordan H E Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani and Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Sultan bin Ahmed Al Asiri.
