Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of yesterday’s trading by 16.40 points, or 0.15 percent, to reach the level of 10929 points, compared to the closing of yesterday’s trading (Tuesday).
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange indicated that the index increased, supported by the insurance sector by 1.87 percent, the industries sector by 0.48 percent, the communications sector by 0.26 percent, and the transportation sector by 0.16 percent. Banks and financial services with 0.64 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 56.537m riyals, distributed to 16,642 shares, with the implementation of 1983 transactions.
