Staff and associates of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels held a blood donation drive in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) recently to show their support for the community.
Twenty people participated in the camp held at Al Mirqab Boutique Hotel, which collected 9200ml units of blood.
Taleb Al Henzab, General Manager at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels, said: “We wanted to make an altruistic gesture to help others at this time. Giving blood is a simple way to give back to our community that is also vital for the welfare of those who are sick and in need. It is our way of helping others whilst supporting the sterling efforts of HMC to look after people’s health in Qatar.”
