Doha, Qatar: Deputy Amir and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, chaired today at the Amiri Diwan the third meeting of the Board of Trustees for the academic year 2022-2023.
At the outset of the meeting, the QU Board of Trustees reviewed its decisions and recommendations taken during the second meeting of the academic year 2022-2023, then discussed the topics on the agenda and took the appropriate decisions in their regard.
The council approved the establishment of a Bachelor of Science program in Speech and Language Therapy at the College of Health Sciences, and a Master of Science program in Business Analysis at the College of Business and Economics, in addition to offering a specialization in Environmental Engineering at the College of Engineering.
The Council also agreed to make the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics into two departments: the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and the Department of Physics and Materials Science, as part of the plan to develop the College of Arts and Sciences.
