Doha: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Defence Ministry said on Monday that four cruise missiles originating from Iran were detected heading toward the State.
The Ministry added that three missiles were successfully intercepted over the country’s territorial waters, while the fourth fell into the sea.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the sounds heard in various areas across the country were the result of the successful interception of the aerial threats.
