Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Hassan Rowhani, on the victims of the explosion that occurred at a coal mine in Golestan province, northern Iran.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent similar cables of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Hassan Rowhani.
