Nairobi: Kenya security agencies collaborating closely managed to thwart a planned biological attack using anthrax.
According to Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, the three arrested, who have networks linked to ISIL group, were medical interns attached at the Wote Hospital in Makueni.
IG Boinnet said that the terror suspects were planning unleash a large scale attack with a magnitude of Westgate Mall.
The network included medical experts with whom they planned to conduct a biological attack in Kenya using anthrax.
The Kenyan police still pursuing other interns' medical doctors on the run Ahmed Hish and Farah Dagane and asked public to give any information that may lead to the arrests of other members.
