Bhavan’s Public School (BHPS)organised the Investiture ceremony for the elected School Leader, Deputy School Leaders and other members elected to the School Parliament recently at the Matar Qadeem campus. Student representatives from both Wakrah and Matar Qadeem campus took part in the programme.
The students performed many cultural activities on the occasion as part of observing World Heritage Day.
The gathering was welcomed by Philip M P, Vice Principal, BHPS. The presidential address was given by the Principal V L Balasubramanian.
The elected leaders’ profiles were displayed on a screen and the principal administered oath to the school leaders and 125 elected members of the School Parliament.
They were conferred with badges by guests Mohammed Ali, Representative from Community Policing, Venkatnathan, Vice President, IIT Alumni, Qatar, and Saroj Shukla, Executive committee Member, ICBF. Shailaja Krishnakumar, Headmistress, BHPS proposed vote of thanks.
