Doha, Qatar: While Lusail International Circuit (LIC) is globally recognised for hosting world class events such as the Formula 1®, MotoGP™, World Endurance Championship, the circuit’s story extends far beyond international race weekends. All year long, LIC opens its doors to the community, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience Qatar’s premier motorsport venue first hand, not as spectators, but as participants.
Positioned at the heart of Qatar’s growing sports and entertainment landscape, Lusail International Circuit has evolved into a dynamic lifestyle destination where performance, health, and community engagement meet on one of the most advanced racing facilities in the world.
More Than a Race Track
Since its inauguration in 2004, LIC has stood as a symbol of Qatar’s commitment to sporting excellence. The 5.38 FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A circuit, famous for its flowing layout and 16 corners, is a regular fixture on the global motorsport calendar.
Yet on non race days, the same track transforms into an accessible space where the public can drive, ride, run, walk, cycle, and kart in a safe and professional environment.
These community activations reinforce LIC’s role not only as a venue for elite competition, but as a year round destination that contributes to active living, grassroots motorsport development, and Qatar National Vision 2030.
