Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced that it will implement a traffic diversion on a section of Al Wukair main road from Friday, February 5 in coordination with the Traffic Department. The diversion will be in place for around one year and is required to facilitate the construction works of the main carriageway as part of the West Corridor Project.
During this time, two lanes in each direction on a section of Al Wukair Road will be closed in approximately 850 meter sections and traffic will be redirected to an alternative route with the same number of lanes in each direction as shown in the attached map.
