Indian expatriate singer Nadir Abdul Salam will sing with eminent singer Sami Yusuf during the Sami Yusuf Live Concert at Katara’s Amphitheatre on December 6.
Nadir was selected at an audition event held at Katara Drama Hall by a four-member judging panel, under the supervision of Sami Yusuf on Saturday. The jury was impressed by the rendition of Arabic songs by Nadir in different styles. Excited by Nadir’s performance, Sami Yusuf also offered all his support to him in the future.
A class 10 student of MES Indian School, Nadir is learning Arabic music at Qatar Music Academy with scholarship.
