Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a visit for a group of German-speaking guests to the Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani Mosque in The Pearl area. The visit reflects the Center’s commitment to engaging with diverse audiences, regardless of language or background.
During the tour, the visitors learned about the mosque’s unique architectural features, its aesthetic appeal, and its various sections. They were also introduced to the religious rituals performed there and the services the mosque provides to the wider community. The guests actively interacted with the organising team, asking questions and receiving detailed answers.
German is the latest addition to the languages through which the Center offers its cultural programmes on Islamic and Qatari culture. The Center’s activities are also conducted in English, French, Spanish, and Russian, and it publishes educational materials in these languages as well as in Portuguese and Italian, helping to promote Qatari culture to a global audience.
