QCB issues final approval to Masraf Al Rayan and al khaliji merger

Doha: Masraf Al Rayan QPSC and Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) PQSC announced yesterday that Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has issued its final approval on the merger between both banks yesterday.

Further announcements with respect to completion will be made in due course, said the statement posted on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) websit.

According to the statement, the merger is in the process of being finalised to ensure all other legal formalities are completed in the shortest time possible.
