BPS honours best artistes

A host of students of Birla Public School won coveted titles, trophies and certificates in the Birla Fest, the annual talent search and award show of the school held at the Basant Kumar Birla Auditorium  of the school. 
Shobita Krishna (Class XII) and Gayathri Karunakar Menon (Class X) won the ‘Best Performer’ titles in the Senior Category. Krishnadev Vijayakumar (Class XI) was adjudged as ‘Best Artiste’  in the Senior Section. 
While Amalendu K and Sreelakshmi Suresh both of Class VII, shared the ‘Best Performer’ honour, Sneha Karthik (Class VIII) won the ‘Kalathilakam’ title in the Intermediate Category.
This academic year about 1800 students from Class I to XII competed in various cultural and literary competitions which consisted of 64 items. 
In both individual and group events 104 contestants won first prize, 98 got second prize and 101 received third prize. The Peninsula
