Doha: Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. (AAB) has joined hands with the Japanese global mobility service provider Kinto. The new partnership was announced recently at a ceremony which was attended by AAB Vice-President Abdulghani Nasser Al Abdulghani, Koichi Nagayasu from MaaS & Fleet Business Solution Group at Toyota Motor Corporation Middle East & Central Asia, and AAB’s CEO R. K. Murugan, along with other AAB top management and representatives from media and social media platforms.

Everyone should have the freedom to move. With cities more congested and lives more connected, we need a fast affordable way to move from point A to point B. One solution that’s flexible, convenient and simple is Kinto Rent.

During the event, Nagayasu stated: “Kinto is part of our strategy to transition from a car manufacturing company to a mobility company by providing new transport-related services to our valued customers in Qatar and across the world”.

Abdulghani added: “The Kinto global brand was launched three years ago as the brand owned by Toyota Financial Services Corporation, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Toyota Motor Corporation. This brand revolves around providing innovative and new mobility services to customers in a way that integrates technology, product and customer requirements in an accessible and flexible manner”.

Over the last decade, Qatar has made significant progress towards becoming a leader in the use of information technology. AAB aims to build on that momentum and play a key role in driving Qatar’s economic diversification and growth strategy to comply with Qatar Vision 2030. AAB collaborates with the Kinto global headquarters in Nagoya, Japan under the supervision of Toyota Motor Corporation to bring its services and brand ideology to Qatar.

For the first time in Qatar, AAB along with the Kinto global headquarters will offer online rent a car service to guests arriving to the country to experience the FIFA World Cup. Operating from Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha, this new initiative is the latest venture into rent a car service that covers the use of the vehicle, and payment online through the app. The driver must only pay for fuel and a deductible if there’s an accident.

Customer individual mobility needs are at the heart of Kinto Rent, which combines affordability, convenience and high-quality service and professionalism.

Kinto Rent makes customers’ transportation easier. Using the app, users can book, pay and drive their favourite Toyota or Lexus away.

Rental options start from one day all the way up to 180 days. As the first step, download the Global Kinto app, complete the registration and pick the vehicle and option that works for you.

For the booking, the customer is required to share a photo of the driving license, ID information and proceed for payment. Finally, pick up the vehicle upon arrival at HIA.
